Our Story
I didn't get into real estate to get rich. I got in because people were drowning — and nobody was throwing them a rope.
It was 2004. Houston's market was hot, but underneath the surface, homeowners were getting crushed by predatory loans, bad advice, and lenders who had zero interest in finding solutions. I was young, hungry, and angry enough to do something about it. So I did.
I founded Short Sale Surrender — a program designed to help underwater homeowners escape the trap of negative equity through debt settlement and short sales. No fluff, no false promises. Just real options for real people who'd been told they had none. I stood in the gap when the system turned its back on them, and that became my identity.
By 2011, the market shifted and so did the need. Families didn't just want out — they wanted to stay. So I pivoted to loan modifications, working directly with lenders to reduce principal balances, lower interest rates, and extend terms. The goal was simple: keep families in their homes. We did it thousands of times.
Then came 2016, and My Foreclosure Hero was born.
Not just a rebrand — a sharper weapon. After more than a decade in the trenches, I'd seen too many cases where lenders weren't just difficult — they were wrong. Improper assignments, servicing errors, fraudulent documentation.
